Default Defroster - Electrical Problem??

Hey guys, I got in my A4 the other day and put on the defroster and there was no air coming out. I played with the temps but still no air, theres no air coming out even if I try to use the heat or a/c. Also I replaced my right brake light very recently and it also went out, and my left low beam headlight does not work but the high beam does.

Are these problems related? Are they electrical? Will getting my car scanned show any codes, if so which module does it have to be "aligned" with?

Thanks in advance for the help.

so basically there's no air coming outa any vents? mostly likely the blower motor relay or the blower motor itself. most of the wiring is under the dash and behind to headunit. they could be related. it's hard to diagnose eletrical problems online. u might wanna check in the 2 places i listed though.

Doubt they are in any way related. First thing I'd do is check the fuses for the blower fan. Can you hear it turn on? Do the dash switches work and light up when you toggle them on or off?

A regular scanner wont find codes. You would need to borrow a vagcom and check the HVAC system for codes.

The dash switches work, I can toggle the fan speed and temp and everything. I don't know anyone with a vagcom, only the stearlerships have them right?

Is there anywhere to look at the layout of the fuse box to know whats what exactly?

Unfortunately, don't have access to my books. So if all else fails, run a google search for audi a4 fuse box and see if you can pull up a picture.

You can use the vagcom locator site to see if there is someone who has a vagcom near you. You will have to check the HVAC system.

Got the exact same problem!
I vag-comed my car about 30 times and allway get exessive comm errors on theHVAC module!
So today I started tearing my car apart and I found some kind of vacum device with 3 inputs but only 2 connected to a hose is that right?
Also tried to put 9V directly to the connectors I think is for the flapmotors but no result!
Once when i started the car one of the motors moved but then it just died again =(

PLEASE HELP!!!
