Guys I had my projectors and HIDS installed yesterday looks great, BUT for some reason when I turn them on my radio resepction goes to crap. I'm pretty sure it's the lights because when I turn them off the radio works fine.
First off has anyone had this problem? And is there a way to fix it THANKS!! I need radio or I would lose my sanity LoL.

 

my friend had the same exact problem when he installed HID's in his WRX. I don't think he ever fixed it either. its either a ground issue or a problem caused by the enormous current running through those things. check your ground, and make sure your power supply and ground are as far away from any of your stereo lines as you can. and good luck

 

Thanks, like you said the only thing I could think of was maybe it's because of all that juice running through the wires. But, I'm not great mechanically so I figured I wouldask.

 

Make sure the ignitor-ballast has good connections.

I read something about the ballasts being in the wrong place which causes the problem. I heard putting it under the headlight corrects this. Not entirely sure though

 

i was thinking about ordering from that site, do you like the HIDs??
