i have no coolant in my tank so can i put some distilled water in there. it cuz i have a leak and i can't fix it till next week and is there ne other coolants that i can buy other than goin to audi dealer

 

I ran into an emergency and used some generic orange coolant (50/50 mixed with water) in my 98 2.8, but only to get me to the dealership where I had the coolant system flushed and replaced that crap with Pentosin G12 (what our cars are supposed to use). My car doesn't seem to have suffered any ill effects, but like I said it was for less than 20 miles.

 

yeah distiled water only. and don't do it if it is freezing where you live.

 

just buy the coolent from the dealer its 20 bucks and its worth it not to mess up your car
