Default WATER

Hi there.
Just wanted to ask if anyone has had this problem.I found out last night that the floors of both n/s & o/s footwells are damp(more so the o/s/r one)
Does anyoneknow what can cause this.Is there any grommets in the floor. Is it a commom problem.

Just wanted some ideas before i start ripping the carpet out.

Its a 2001 a6 avant.
Thanks

Default RE: WATER

Hate to sound like a nag but do a search, there are a ton of posts regarding water in the foot wells. From what I remember reading water can come in from the sunroof drains, battery area drains, and someone once said something about water coming in around the high/low ac pipes as they pass through the firewall.

Best of luck, Jeff
