I have another question if anyone can answer this.
I'm looking at a 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro Automatic sport packagenow and its got 24k miles. Is there an extended warranty I can purchase and what does it cover? Also, what would you say are the top 5 maintenance issues with Audi A4's (brakes, trans., etc...)? I apologize,I'm not into modding really, but need some help. Thanks!

every car i've had has been manual but when I have to drive my girlfriends car I get bored. My mind starts to wander etc.

Watch out for the funeral processions though. people forget how to properly drive because they are in a line of cars.

With a manual, you actually feel like you are working a machine. Autos it feels to me more like you are beign driven somewhere and you get to steer.

I have a question for you in response to if I get tired of driving a stick.

Do you get tired of looking at Swedish model's having a pillow fight?

That's my answer I don't get tired of driving a stick, I actually really like it and am bored out of my mind when I have to drive an auto.

Hey all, I've been test driving an a4 1.8t 6spd manual and I love love the car. But I'm new to stick shift and it got really irritating at times. Would it be better if I just found an automatic tiptronic? This goes for any manual car really...

It gets irritating if you have a VAGINA.

amiwrong?

And anyone who bitches about it in traffic needs to g t f o.

I LOVE MANUEL!! only way to go if your 23 and have a sport car...... and it is like a 6th sense for sure.... and i try to make it as smooth as possible inbetween gears, cause im a perfectionest! and if i don't then thats the part that gets irritating LOL, personaly i would think it would be SOOO boring with out the mauel, but i can vouge for people that live in new york and are in bumper to bumper traffic everyday, thats why you get a Daily driver and the AUTO, but if you have the system down with the mauel in bad traffic, its not so bad but cars will jump into your spot from time to time... and that sucks!

im kinda happy that i have auto cuz i like to eat/drink/phone call/play drums while driving... so auto gives me just one more hand to do all the dirty work... but i see the fun in stick, but then i would have to give up food/drink/phone call/drumming.
