So the support beaing on the driveshaft is bad (1996 A4 Quattro 2.8 manual). Starting to get the whine. Any recommendations on what to do? I've heard most places will recommend a driveshaft replacement which as I understand is quite costly. Then I've seen the bearing replacement kits at blauparts.com. Is that worth it? Has anyone done similar work or had it done? Also, does anyone know of any decent. trustworthy shops in or around the Sacramento area? Thanks.
