i got a 01 a4 and i replaced my n75 valve for a n75 "j" it works great i just want to be sure i installed it right there is one long post and 1 short tube which one goes in to the turbo inlet hose i found the diy pic and my connector faces the oppisite way then the on in the pic that y i think imight of put it in wrong [sm=bangbang.gif]

 

I don't have a clue, BUT, and a big BUT at that, If it works great, chanses are you did it right.

 

You should probably make it the way the pic shows it cuz if its not then its probably wrong, even if it feels good it might not be right Id double check it

 

If you compare it to stock n75 you should install it backwards because N75J has 180 degree harness difference.

 

Plug connection should be facing downward not up and is hard to connect, if it went on easy then you know its on wrong.

 

Did you follow the DIY on AW?

I don't know if there is a difference between the H and J's design, but my H went in just as my stock one was.

 

i bought my car used and the former owner installed a manual boost controller so the n75 valve was messed with before i go to it the power connecter is facing down
