I'm sorry if this is a repeat post but i could not find an answer to save my life...I am about to get a Kenwood In dash DVD player and I was wondering what do I have to hook it to so that it plays while i'm driving...I heard most people hook it up to the handbrake and that causes it to only play while it is engaged...how do I get around that...Sorry again if this question has already been answered...Thanx

 

JUST CHECK TO MAKE SURE IF IT HAS GYROS OR NOT!! ask the shop about that. most new ones and nav ones now do, in which case there is no fix w/o screwing up nav. if it doesn't- some wire to ebrake, while some need to be hooked up to a bypass switch which needs to be turned on every time your car turns on. are you planning on doing this yourself?

 

Man to be honest I don't think I want to screw anything up...So i'm going to take it to a local shop so I can have it done properly and when something goes wrong I can bring it back...But thanx for the advice man...i appreciate it...

 

im afraid the shop might refuse to hook it up the way u want it. legal issues. not sure though.
