a lil more noise than wanted in the engine bay. as of yesterday, it seems the serpantine belt in front of my motor, *accessory belt??* has started to make that super trashy squeak that you hear from a winter beater... i hate this noise, easy fix...or mechanic??

 

You probably need a new belt tensioner. It's an easy DIY. Pick up a new tensioner off our website. It's only 3 bolts to remove and replace it.

 

That squeal is just the belt slipping on the pulleys. It could be a tensioner or a worn belt, in both cases it is an easy fix.

 

Replace both. It's pretty easy...
