hello guys,

I have a 2009 Audi A4 2.0 TDI, and had a problem with DPF and emission warning light, so I had to take it to garage for a regeneration and also changing a few sensors as they were damaged (according to the mechanic).

Now when I drive the car I no longer see any of warning lights, however just noticed one thing odd(maybe not) this morning. When I plug in the key without foot on break, the dashboard shows me several yellow/red light (for initial check I think) which will disappear one by one, and I noticed that the seatbelt light and engine emission warning light is always on until I start engine.

I didn't pay attention to this previously, is this normal behavior of AUDI car or does that mean something is still wrong please?

That is normal. The emissions light needs a running engine to tell if it is okay and the seatbelt light stays on (or flashes) until you put your belt on. I think it might turn off but after a bit it will start chiming and flashing to remind you to put your belt on. The others are just intial checks.

I know what you mean. Everytime one pops up I start to freak. Usually it is a tire pressure light (I had a nail in a tire and it leaked really slow). Fixed the tire took care of that though!
