Default Check Engine Light for Emission Leak(large)

I need Help!!! My code reads emission control; leak (large). I have replaced the Gas Cap due to a bad O-ring seal and the problem went away for a month or so. Now the check engine light is back on again with the same fault code. After re-setting the light it works fine for a few days and then comes back on again.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Check and see if the evap canister purge valve holds vacuum. They can stick open sometimes. Also check the caps of the fuel sending units on the tank. They have a tendancey to leak. Those are found under the carpet in the trunck and under the rear seat.
