Default Engine replacement

I am pickign up this audi tomorrow that needs an engine. How much could I get a low miles as in under 80k for. If that doesnt work out, then how much am I looking at for a rebuild kit. Also how much does the suspension cost, I hear you have to replace it. The car has 103k miles on it. I want to do a full GT28rs turbo kit eventually. With all of that being said, shoudl I buy a low miles engine and put rings and gasket, or should I rebuild the whole engine.

What yr. model andengine are you getting?

What is wrong with the engine now? It would be cheaper to build the engine that is in the car then replaceing then building.
