Default Engine vibration

Howdy fellas!

I did a trhottle body alignment on my b6 a4 yesterday and drove to work this morning with no problems. On my way home from work I find that under hard acceleration the engine starts to vibrate pretty badly and cel flashes, but at idle it seems fine, and under normal acceleration it seems fine, and after a few seconds the cel goes away. Haven't had a chance to hook up vag-tool yet, just putting out feelers. Any ideas? Help greatly appreciated.

What engine? Gotta have codes before attempting to help, but if the check engine light is flashing the engine is miss-firing, it may have nothing to do with the work you performed.
If you get the code and you have a specific miss-fire its probably the ignition coil but check your plugs first.

I got two codes:
P0300 Random/multiple Cylinder misfire detected.
P0302 Cylinder #2 Misfire detected.

Could it be a loose injector?

Try switching the coil packs around and see if the misfire follows the pack, if so, it's a bad pack. If not then... I don't know. ANYONE ELSE???

Check the condition of cylinder 2's spark plug.

9 times out of 10 its the ignition coil on a 1.8T. When you remove the coil inspect it, sometimes they come apart in the center, most times the output stage in the coil is faulty, if the plug looks ok replace the ignition coil.

I would guess it would be the ICM. Clear codes and swap the coils to see if the misefire follows, if not it is the ICM.
