Anyone ever get this as a cel? I cannot find the problem. i have followed the lines to the back of the car and I still dont know what the problem is. Anyone with any ideas, that would be most helpful.

what is the code ? also what engine,year ?

 

I can post the code tonight.....I have a 97 a4 1.8t quattro manual w/ aeb engine. I have had the code since as long as I can remember.

 

Theck the small grey and white check valve that is under the plastic cover that covers the air filter. On my car this had rubbed against a biece of metal and a hole was eaten through it causing a vacuum leak in the EVAP system
