Default EVER HEARD OF THIS SENSOR??? INPUT PLEASE!!!

Ok guys here's the deal,
i bought my b6 s4 on 4-20-2007 used from Lexus..... the other day my check engine light came on but everything seemed fine.... no drivability problems what so ever.... so i took the car back because there is a 30 day warranty.... i dropped it off yesturday and they sent the car to the nearest Audi dealer. today the guy from lexus calls me and tells me that it is a bad "air sensor for the fuel injector" ...... huh? is this really a sensor??? just wondering if this is b*ll sh*t before i go back to pick it up.... personally i thought i may have left off the gas cap cause i filled up that day....

think he could be talking about the MAF? he said it was going to cost him $429 to fix

(52,000 MILES)

first of all this is A4 forum

there’s no such thing as “air sensor for the fuel injector†it might be like you said MAF or some kind of UEGO sensor controller (monitors Air/Fuel ratios)
ask dealer to point on whatever they changed in your car….

Take it easy on the guy....I am pretty sure he had an a4 before this car, and he probably got good help from this forum. (it is possible I am on this too much at work if I can remember that a guy I don't even know, got a new car. )
