i've been thinking about replacing my stock exhaust soon and someone on the forum mentioned to have the headers ported and polished.who does this type of work.
i live in san diego so if anyone knows were i can get in done let me know

you can do it yourself with a dremmel. Check for a local performance shop or maybe a machine shop.

actually you port the HEAD, not the header... FYI

any machine shop will do it, unless u do it yourself

if you do it yourself, make sure there all pretty much the same...

 

he was not talking about porting his head.....he was talking about his headers. You could port the head, but that is very rare. Normally people port the header to make it match then port on the head....making much better flow. Normally the head port is larger than the header too.
