Default Extented Warranty, should I get it?

Hi guys, I have a 1999 Audi A4, Quattro 2.8. with 90k Miles. Should I purchase this warranty?(please see link below)

http://www.aaautowarranty.com/basic.asp

My repair guy said that my Drive axie, and Timing belt, tensioner need to be replaced. The quoate I got from them is $1889 for 36 month, $1989 for 48 months.

If I purchase this warranty, can I bring my Audi to Audi AUTHORIZE dealer? Will they be able to accept this warranty?

Thank you!

Depends on the reliability of the company that backs it, the parts that it covers, the deductable.

You can likely take it to an Audi dealer for service, but note that they probably wont pay for the high labor rates at an Audi dealer. It looks like they pay a fixed hourly rate, based on your geographic location, not based on what the dealer charges.

Timing belt and tensioner is routine maintenance. Routine maintenance is not covered by the warranty.

I have been looking at this company and they are semi local PA vs Me in MD. They have a decent plan for the car I am looking at. But I was wondering if anyone has heard of these people? How are they on claims? Any info is welcome thanks
