Default Warranty Direct or Continental Warranty??

I just purchased an '02 A6 2.7T with 37,800 miles which I absolutely love -
I am going to get an extended warranty - anybody have any experience with Warranty Direct or Continental - or is there another extended warranty company that is good for the Audi community -

Thanks in advance -
Charlie

Be wary of Continental...brought my A6 to the stealership and it cost me $500 in diagnostic work to find out why my car was doing, or not doing different things. Needed new window regulator, and new secondary fan for AC. and other things. Continental covered NOTHING. Be wary if it is not on their list, (the list is VERY specific) they won't cover. That includes all diagnostics. I will say, Continental refunded my money with no problem when I went ballistic and cancelled the warranty. Use this forum and find out what warranty company the Certified Audi dealerships use. good luck

I would be wary of any after market warranty. Have both a lawyer and technician read the contract before you buy. They put alot of weird clauses in those contracts to pay as little as possible. Ive seen one where they would only pay for a cv joint if the cv boot wasnt torn. The only way the joints gonna fail is if the boot is torn.
