F*ck - central locks don't work - electrical issue
Bull Sh*t! You can access the central locking control module in any OBD 2 equipped audi, and you have to code it. Plug the old piece of crap in and see if it will comunicate with module 35.
Vagg'd it - ... controller not responding - tried that with both units... same result. The 5 amp fuse for the central locks and 15 amp fuse for the trunk lights/cent. locks are both good. I even swapped them with other fuses of the same type and nothing...
Any other suggestions?

Both of those modules are garbage, instead of buying a new module pay the dealer an hour to diagnose it for you, that way when they say they know what it is and replace it and it doesn't fix it they own their mistake. Then they have to replace it. If the VAG COM says you cannot communicate with the central locking module you have a few things, the module is bad, the fuse is blown, or the wiring has a break in it somewhere. Chances are its the module.
I would love to take it to the dealer except the nearest one is 45 miles away, and I haven't heard good things about them.
At this point... I think I should be looking at the fuses behind the knee panel under the steering wheel, and checking on the relays. I will also trace the wiring and check to see if any is melted or questionable.
Anyone know which relays control what on the A4?
