Fan won't turn off and car will not fire

Default Fan won't turn off and car will not fire
2004 audi a4. The car ran fine when it was parked. The fans will not stop running causing the car to die. When you connect jumper cables after about a minute when the battery gets juice the fan automaticly turns on before the key is even in the ignition. Now when we charge the battery we are not getting any fire. If anyone has any ideas please let me know thanks
