Default A few convenient VAG codes.....

I stumbled upon these.

They address the 3 main things that I would like to change, so now I need to find someone with a VAG-COM.

Address 09 - Central Electronics
1023 default
1021 enables high beam/fog, Euro parking lights (amber only when blinking)

Address 17 - Instruments
23261 default
23259 remove seat belt chime

Address 46 - Central Convenience
11820 default
11884 windows up/down with key FOB

Not sure if they're already on the forum, but if they're not - I'm sure they'll be useful to someone.

***Also, these are for informational purposes. Use them at your own risk.
This should read, "Don't sue me"

Hot damn! That euro one is EXACTLY what I wanted! Where the **** did you find that?! I'm gonna run outside and do it right now. If my car lights on fire or something, I'll be back to raise hell.
Haha this is the first time I've tried something that wasn't on the ross-tech website... unless it IS there and I'm just blind. But off I go! I hate that they light up orange!

EDIT: damnit all to hell... it wont let me access Central Elec 09! Maybe that's a b6 thing only? Grrr! I want the orange gone!

I probably should have pointed out that my car is a 2006 A4 2.0T with Quattro. (B7 model)

The site I got the codes from is specifically tailored to the B7's, so there may be a difference with other model years or if you have a different series.....fyi.

Do you not use search engines much?
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...di+fault+codes

Normally all you have to do is look for an empty bar, its common for there to be a"search" button next to it. Well, once you identify that, feel free to type in something that you want to know more about (ex: "**** sex") Then, go ahead and put the mouse cursor over that "search" button, left click that sucker and see what happens. Its an amazing thing.
