First Upgrades....
you need a tip chip. soon as you do that get a new dv 710N. soon as you do that get a boost guage and then an exaust.
after you get those get a fmic. then get the ko4 with the programing bundle from awe. or seperate either way.

with a chip you will most likely need a new DV. some have been able to run the stock DV with a chip for a couple hundred miles while others have had theirs break after like 10 miles lol. if your planning on sticking with the k03 get the chip first. if your planning on getting a bigger turbo you might wana do that and chip it then. cuz when you upgrade the turbo you will also have to get new programming. so that 500 bucks you just spent on the chip the first time goes right down the toilet. giac gives you a discount when you switch programming but it still costs a pretty penny.
the tip tranny can only support the basic file for a k04, not one of the aggressive ones. so you gota ask yourself if that extra 30-50 horses is worth over a grand to you.
so basically if your car is tip i just suggest keeping the k03 and modding it the most you can. if you have a manual tranny i would suggest plan the extent of your mods before you start modding and go from there. if you want to go BT, no sense in spending money on exhaust and programming when your gona have to change them when you get enough money for the BT.

ok so another question...does the Tip Chip really make a difference? like is it worth the 350 dollars?
cuz i dont want to have to invest in it if its not gonna make a huge difference...

Bull ****... how long does it take to powershift? I don't let off the gas to powershift, and in my buddys STOCK s4 I get second gear scratch... do that with your tip chip. The chip is well worth it though, with much faster shifts than stock. The advantage of a auto tranny is mistake free shifting, not many people can consistantly powershift correctly. The only auto tranny proven to shift faster than a manual with a professional driverin the same exact car was a BMW sequential shifttranny.
