Ok,

Well, you do know a chip is about 500 bucks right? Thats a lot of jack for someone that said they have no money.

But, its Christmas time, maybe you'll get some last minute cash from grandma or something. Anyway, I guess its ok to dream..........

No idea I would imagine its still slower then .2 seconds. Wouldn't it? Anyway you agree with you totally on the mistake free shifitng that was the point I was trying to make.

well i do have a job, so money isnt that big of a problem...and for my car the chip is 400....

how much would the installation and all that stuff add up too?

ok ive been reading a little bit, and i read that the REVO chip is also a good choice....now im in a pickle...
but REVO does have a free 5 hour trial, so i should check that out first, lol
so now the choice is between GIAC and REVO....AAAAHHHHHH!!!!

I would still do the GAIC, i've heard nothing but good things. I have an APR and I wish I had done the GAIC.

As far as pricing, just look around at different places. Depending on how savvy you are with car, you can send your ECU in, then get it back and put it in yourself to save some money. Otherwise go to a dealer and have them do it.

The cost of installation will just be what that particular place charges per hour for labor. I would GIAC anyway as well.

I don't really know I just got the billet one from Evolution Motosports when I was getting my intake installed and it works well for me, but I hear a lot of people here saying forge.
