Default Fitting snowboards in the B6 a4

I am looking into options. how do you go about fitting snowboards in the A4. I ride a 159 and the little lady rides a 154. We will be making the trip from texas to Copper mountain, colorado a few times a year so I would like to know if a roof rack is a must.

Do the seats fold down in the rear or will the ski passage allow for the width of my 159 cm with the bindings removed?

The rest of the year we ride wakeboards so I will have to see at the dealer if a 143 cm and my rather large kneeboard will fit in the trunk.

Thanks in advance for your help.

i ride a 159 and it fits perfect in the trunk. seats fold 60/40 so you can fit 3 people in the car with boards.

you can actually fit 4 with the small seat folded down cant you? might be a little snug but **** gettin to the mt is gettin to the mt no matter how you do it!

You guys made my day!

I thought I was going to have to give in and get an AWD saturn VUE for fuel economy and vacation capabilities. (yes i know but all the sedansI have looked at are a no go for what I need to do with a car. i.e. g35 and is300)

Oh my gosh, I thought that first picture of the kayak was a fake until i saw the interior shot!

I am counting the days till I am back on the slopes on my new Darkstar.
