Default FMIC ?

what are the dimations of a FMIC that will fit my car. i have a 2004 A4 1.8t. i dont want to pay for a kit i want to do a custom one. thanks

umm just about any FMIC will require a lot of cutting of the bumper. there is not much room up there. i have a 2001 A4 1.8t so it may be different for you.

I'd recommend a 24x6x2.75" core and keep in mind that will still require a lot of trimming, however the bumper support wont need any trimming
search a little bit next time, this was posted yesterday afternoon...

EDIT: this is for a B5, but it's gonna be close

Those dimension were what i recommended for a b5, i havent even seen a b6 or b7 without the bumper on

thats a pretty thick core. deff alot of trimming on that. i think tom said it costed him around the same price as ive seen greddy kits go for.

mine cost around $550, and was a 3" core needed a rediculous amount of trimming

Yup, my first one cost areound 300 to make, this one was 320 for core, 50 for silicone and clamps, free dv mounting tube, 150 for piping, and free welding
