Default FMIC help.

Ok im trying to piece together a $150 fmic but have a few ?'s. Nobody on ebay seems to sell the size that dont need bumper cutting (24"x10"x2" total) so i'll get as close to that as i can.

1. What size inlet/outlet do i need on the IC 3" or 2.75"?
2. What size pipe kit do i need?
3. Do any other pipe's need to be replaced? (ex: from theturbo or to the intake) If so what size?
4. Will all the recomended pipes work with both the K03 and BT come spring?

So is the 7" tall the problem or the 2.5" thick the problem?
Renn-art has this fmic kit for about $800 and they say no cutting is needed and its 24 x 10 x 2.

I was also thinking about spraying it black to blend in with the rest of the car but not sure if that's going to have a neg. effect on the cooling.
