Front wheel bearing replacement procedure?

Front wheel bearing replacement procedure?
Nasty noise has developed on our 2002 A4 (1.8T, non-Quattro, 73k miles), sounds like the car has mud bogger tires on it. REALLY loud roaring noise starting at about 30 mph. Not related to tires, did it with old Kumhos, now with new BF Goodrich. Brake pads/rotors and CV boots are in good shape. Engine/turbo, etc are also in good shape, timing belt recently done - car is maintained pretty well.
Anyway, I ordered front/left wheel bearing replacements kits from Autohauz on the guess that this is a front wheel bearing crapping out, but I can't seem to find info on the replacement procedure. My Haynes manual has been OK for general stuff, but it gives the procedure for press-in type bearings. The kits that I bought look like a bolt in deal, since the bearing is already in a housing and they give you new bolts, etc. to attach it with. Looks straightforward, but I've been fooled before.
Anybody done this on the B6 model and can maybe give some insight on how the job goes? Would really be appreciated - thanks.
