ok i looked at the fuel rail, how the heck do you check the fuel pressure i dont see any place to put a gauge

so i have to keep the gauge there all the time.. ok that makes sense on other cars that i have worked on there has been a place where you can test the presure without actually putting in a fixed gauge was not really interesting in doing that.. oh well guess i have no choice

 

It is better to have one all the time, and it is a really cheap mod.

 

thanks for the pic i was going to tap into the other hose.. it should be easy, figure a 100psi gauge will be like $50 and a few hose clamps...

Most audi's dont have the shrader valve to do a quick fuel pressure test like on almost every other car out there. You have to disconnect the fuel line to get pressure. Dam audi enginneers and their weekly trips to amsterdam. One day they figure out different isnt ALWAYS best.
