please help. i have a 2002 a4 1.8t cvt. after driving for about 10 minutes, D is no longer lit, tiptronic doesn't work, can't really go into reverse but can still drive forward fine. if you continue driving for 15-20 more minutes, D lights up again, everything seems to work again that is until the next time you start the engine & the problems start up again. any ideas of what it could be? ever heard of this problem? any advice would be appreciated. thanks...

 

could be a bad connection at the shift area "water ingress" to the multi plug causing corrosion to the pin connectors common to battery connections clean the connectors and see how it goes dielectric spray used on computer boards is good
