General questions from a new owner
Where is the ECU located so that i can figure out which APR chip i need? The car is 99.5 a4 quattro 1.8t manual with sports package. Also, my car has a different exhaust than any oher a4 I have ever seen...i forgot the name of it but the dealership said it was the "sports exhaust" but i cannot confirm this exists through an audi package? Does the sports package include this? Also, by brake rotors are drilled (front with curvy lines and back with holes) Can I assume that these were put on the car or is it possible that this is stock? Also, if I wanted to touch up the paint (few scratches and very minor chips about the size of a pen point) what would you recommed? Thanks.
ECU is in the engine bay just under the windscreen on the passenger side. You will need an 8 m socket and remove the trim panels around the windscreen wiper to get to the last bolt.
The late model got twin pipes with built on tips.
The breaks are aftermarket as the OEM is solid to the face.

ECU's in a black box at the front left corner of the cowling under the hood (next to the brake master cylinder).
I have a stock '00 A4 1.8TQ manual and "no", there's no "sport exhaust" or drilled rotors so that car has definitely been modified unless there's something I'm not aware of.
As for paint ... this is the best I've found online, but I have never used them so you're on your own. http://www.paintscratch.com/

Thanks for the help...ill post pics later to show these question areas. If it was modded, leaves me less to do. Car has 48k miles and is in perfect condition, new brake pads, tires, etc...it was really taken care of.
It may not be sports but the style changed on the later models to twin tip from single so that what he may be seeing.
ECU is always on the passanger side of eather left or right hand drive big black box thing with the ECU inside.
