Run a few tests and see for your self how strong the motor is. I'll bet u'd be suprised how well the ol 1.8 still performes....

i have well over 100,000 on my 2.8 and it still pulls hard. As long as you take care of ur engine (which is a really well built one) you shouldnt lose much HP or Torque besides the normal drivetrain loss and what not.

haha yea dont all of us 2.8ers need that money. But yea, dont go thinking you can just drive this thing tough, just make sure to do all the routine maitenence and a FIS with seafoam isnt such a bad idea.

Engines are typically factory dyno'd in perfectly optimal conditions with a perfectly tuned engine. When you buy a car, you have the possibility of getting the factory rated HP, or you could have one with slightly less. Sad, but it's true. You could very well just have a not-so-perfect one of Audi's engines.

AWD would be about 142whp with 25% power loss
