Default GIAC Chip - surging issues

Hey guys,

So I have the GIAC Plus chip on my 2000 A4, probably for about a week now. I have a forge 007 DV and put in a new N75J valve thanks to clconversion. I am having some surging between 5-10/11 PSI. I am wondering if it has to do with my spring - I have the green spring in there right now which is the easiest one to open. Should I put a stronger spring in there? Under WOT 15-18 PSI no surging and between 0-5 PSI no surging so its odd.

I either have an H or a J in there, I don't remember which one, regardless it brought the surging down. How long did it take for your ecu to adapt?

adaption takes a few weeks at most... You can assume that after a month it is adapted. Make sure you are using premium gas.

Yeah I did the TB adaptaion, then hooked up a code reader to find I had a TB related code. I cleared that, ran through a tank of 94 and it runs like a freakin race horse now.

its the electronic boost regulator, and the h/j is the part number end of two different ones that are higher boost than stock

I don't think it will fail, it just holds your boost at a higher level.
