THE FINISHED PRODUCT!

This weekend i've cleared my corners, painted my grill, and shaved my emblems. BAM!

 

heres a tip use acidatone to get all the chrome off first the prim and paint. so that when it chips it isnt chrome its black

 

Well, when it chipps it'd be gray... because of the primer. It'd have to be a hell of a chip to go through the clear, 3 layers of base, and the primer... to find its way to the black plastic underneath If this one gets chipped over the years, I'll snap it off and re-paint it.

shok, you can get s-yo bulbs from lltek, or you can just use high temp silver paint and coat your stock amber bulbs...

Head, i used silver paint, works well.

 

i painted my chrome grill trim as well like 3 months ago... i opted to go with a new grill too.. black mesh, which isnt as rice as i thought it would be, it acuatlly looks pretty sexy..





i kno its dirty... the weekent trip to the giant dirt lot still hasent been washed off... bear with me

 

So just high temp silver paint? any particular brand of paint? Will they still shine orange -- I want to keep things legal, cops are picky about that sorta thing.

 

i like krylon...and they should still light up amber, just dont put too many coats on...i'd say two at the most, one if you can get a clean coat the first time...
