Default headers

Is there any significant gain in replacing the header on a 2.8?

Probably little to no gain for FAR too much money.

youll get somewhat of a gain. and even mroe with a full freeflow exause. i know there are not a lot of mods for the v6's, but i think people underestimate building an engine. it doesnt have to have forced injection to be powerful.

granted there are not a lot of companies that make engine parts specifically for that engine, but im sure with some determination, someone could build that engine to be bad a$$. besides, its a friggen brick.

First you would have to find a company that makes aftermarket headers for that engine.

Supersprint use to, don't know if they still do. For almost 1 grand I doubt if its worth it. Any performance for the 2.8 I'd go custom. Maybe hone/bore the TB, bore and stroke the block and pistons, change the cams, and custom exhaust work, and finally supercharger. Now that would be a nice project.
