blinker fluid is low.
i think your switch relay is messed up. its a common problem and i dont remember how exacly to fix it. but if you search it will come up. you have to take it apart and spray it with electrical cleaner and that should fix it. it think

I had the same problem about 2 years ago. It may be as simple as cleaning the switch, or it may not.

In the end, i had to replace myentire headlight switch.

Try spraying the switch with RadioShack Contact Cleaner.

Headlight issue but not the same. Figured I'd just hang it on this thread.

Car '04 Quattro 3.0 Cabriolet. Owned for a few months. Leaving headlights in the auto position will occasionally result in a buzzer/tone/beep that only goes away when the headlight switch is turned to the off position. The car is garaged so the lights will go on when the car is started. Haven't noticed it when we get home and they turn off, only during daylight hours. The sound goes away as does the problem, whenever the switch is turned to off and it also doesn't seem to have any consistency. It may be weeks or it may be only days.

Anyone have any experience with this type of problem?

Also have experienced the climate control being on a different setting at startup than when the car was shut off- ie: set at 65 when turned off and set at 68 when restarted or even set "Off" without ever changing the controls.

so i bought a new ignition switch and put it in.. whhhaalaa everything was working again!!! yay!!! looking at the old one you could see one of the pins was melted around it and whatnot.. once i seen that i knew that was the problem... i guess the only downside to it all was the switch was 83 bucks from the stealership... i didnt feel like waitin for an order online.
the install is super easy... if you can loosen about 10 bolts you can do this. so if you have the problem with your headlights, turnsignals and windsheild wipers not working mainly all at once, i could bet that this is your problem - ignition switch
thanks peeps for your input. now i cruise much happier
