Default Headlight problems

installed 6000k xenons from vvme.com a couple of months ago...about mid august i went out to nyc and when i turned on my headlights the left one started to flicker and eventually turn on..i turned them off and turned them back on..it flickered and didnt stay lit..and i kept turning them on and off till they worked properly..when i came back home all was well and didnt flicker at all..i went back to the city a couple weeks later and the left one flickered a bit and then became normal..drove home.. all was well...finally today, i turned my headlights on and now the RIGHT one didnt turn on at all..the indicator for the headlights blinked and so i went out and confirmed the right side headlight wasnt working..i turned the headlights off and turned them back on..both worked fine and i drove back home..what is going on?

PLUS ive had a clinking sound for the last couple of months and sometimes when i turn it sounds like a whale is screaming..sorta like when dori tries to speak whale in finding nemo..lol

on a serious note, my f*cking audi gives me more probs than a japanese ricer

Sounds like the ballasts are flaky. A friend of mine ordered a VVME kit for his car (non-Audi) and had the same issue right from the start. After being turned on for less than five minutes, they both started strobing intermittently. I'd borrow a ballast from a friend and swap it into your car and see if the flicker goes away. Chances are the ballasts are freaking on you.

I have seen this with a few different kits and sometimes it does take place in the quality of the kit and sometimes its how you install them and what happens to them. Make sure that all connections are solid connecting properly, also make sure that there is no moisture that gets to the Ballasts because they DONT mix. I have had great luck with the Philips HID's in my cars and bikes, try looking at them!

Heat shouldn't be an issue with the ballasts. I have had some headlights melt because the bulb got to hot but other than that, no you shouldnt have any problems with them!
