Default Headlight Washer Jet

Just had my car serviced (A4 2002) and I have been told the front left headlight washer is leaking. Apparently they break easily? anyone had any experience of this. The garage said the part was about £20 but it needed about two hours of labour to do the job. They have to remove the front bumper? Anyone had a similar experience? can shed any light on what may need doing or the parts required? I do not really want to spend £150 getting it fixed.

( I wondered where all the pisser water had been going ? ? ? )

Thanks

Paul . . .

You need a new headlamp washer cylinder. Youll also need a clamp for the line. You may want to take a look at it from the bottom. Depending on the side and motor in your vehicle you may be able to get to it without removing the bumper. Otherwise youll have to remove the bumper which isnt too dificult if your fairly mechanically inclined.
