i replaced my headlights with valeo one-pieces and shortly after, my airbag light came on also...hmmmm

so out of all the people in this forum, no one knows why this happens???? does anyone know how to correct it? if you clear the code, will it come back?

i ont htink the code will come back if it was put back on correctly... i think the car just "detects" that it was removed or a wire was tripped somewhere... did u mess with the headlight switch?

i only touched the headlight plug, thats where the hid system connects. And the light didnt come on right away, it came on later that day.

I didn't change my HID but my "airbag" light is on since like maybe a year. I just ignored it but I should look into it.

I brought it in and they audi tech said need to replace airbag control unit. $$
