Default HELP!!!12v harness question------???????????

I have 97 A4 2.8 12V FWD 5-speed

I need to replaceentire engine wire harness..............today I got a USED one from a parts car----96 2.8 12v fwd BUT it's from an automatic transmission vehicle. I paid $100.00 for it and took the chance as the price was so good. Everything else is the same. I pulled it carefully as it is complete and damage free. My question is, will it work????????I believe the AUTO trannies have their own computer and it had no plugs going into the tranny. The only thing close was the crank sensor plug. Anyone who knows the answer??????????????????????????????????????????

Thank You.

If it were an automatic engine wiring harness it would have about 3-4 plugs going to the transmission, it really doesn't matter though if you have a manual. You don't have an engine computer so its not like its gonna throw a fault code or anything if they aren't hooked up.
It should work just fine as far as i know.
