Interesting..... You should be able to give APR the ECU part # so they can look it up to get more details on it. I hope you didnt get ripped offby buyinga fried ecu though. How much did you pay for it?

 

325 for the ecu the chip and switch...and he said i can get my money back if it doesnt work...maybe i can send the ECU to APR and get it to work propperly?

but then if the ECU isnt compatible wiht my car that would just put me out more money..

 

First I would try giving APR the part # to see if they have any records of chipping that ecu.

Well it cant be anything mechanical since it fires right up with your stock ECU. So its got to be the ECU itself. Its either not compatible with your car or has a bad solder job for the chip. You could send your stock ECU to apr and get it chipped for $400... If you cant get any help from APR or anyone else, try to get your money back. I wouldnt invest any money into trying to get it fixed though when you can get yours chipped for $50 more that what you paid for the one you bought- which hopefuly you can get your money back for like you were told if worse comes to worst.

 

well now that im almost positive that im going to get my money back unless when i have more time tomorrow i can get it to work...

should i send my ECU to APR and get them to chip it which will put my car out for like a week...or upgrade breaks and or suspension?
