I have a 2005 A4 S-Line.... About 6 months ago the oil light came on and I hado to have the I guess oil pump changed because the mechaninc said it was clogged..... He did a whole engine flush and oil change..... I just had another oil change done and now the the check engine light is coming on the car shakes and the engine sounds like it is rattling..... Any ideas or anyone else experience similar problems????

 

I'm not sure what is causing it, but whatever it is, it sounds serious. I'd park it and don't drive it, and get in there to see what is going on (ie, did the shop drain the oil and not refill it? ). If you don't feel confident in diagnosing the car, have it flatbedded to a shop you can trust and have them document what has happened. If it's negligence on the part of the shop that did the work, you may have some recourse.
