HELP ME! 2 wires stuck between block and tranny
Hey
You may have read before my car isn't turning over after a clutch install.
Figured it out. 2 cords are squiished inbetween the tranny and the block......shitty i know.
1 is the crankshaft position sensor - it triggered code p0322 after trying to turn the car over 1000 times
The other is the cord is next to the sensor, it is not triggering a code but it is stuck between the block and tranny also.
If you are looking at the radiator overflow container you can see where the CPS starts - the other wire starts right next to it, literately an inch away.
if you have a bentley bible please step in, otherwise I will purchase a subscription to online bently manual 20 dollars for 3 days
If you can tell me which sensor and or what it does that would be awesome so I can get my car fired up.

The bently manual states
They are....
- Engine speed (RPM) sensor -G28-
[/align]Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor -G4-
I thought these 2 were the same part? Can someone confirm that these are 2 different functioning parts?
Thanks
also which one would trigger code p0322 on the Vagcom?

So they forgot to move the wires from in-between the transmission casing and the engine block??? I would go have the shop pay for the new sensors and the repars for them since it was thier fault. Thats why I do my own stuff.
