Im not sure of this but I think I have HID's in my tailights for backing up. I never noticed until some made a comment about how f-ing bright they were.

ORIGINAL: Bogie

has anyone bought HIDSfrom this ebay store "flashplus" before? he has good feedback 97.6%, but charges 42 + 35 shipping = $77 for HIDS. How does this compare to other places anyone else has used? Any more reliable, cheaper or better places to buy from personal experience, thanks.
yes just installed them this past weekend... 6000k and absolutely love them!
thats about as cheap as your gonna get... and for a real HID conversion thats dirt cheap

im trying to wait for a nice day to get some pictures

cool thanks, at first i thought that was a lot, but then i figured if i'm gonna pay sooner or later for replacing the originals, what's a little more (and then some). I think I'm gonna get the 6000Ks too sometime soon.

Very doubtful. I know you can get high-wattage backup bulbs for most cars (I had them in my Z - they were 27W bulbs from AutoFreak.com and were very bright). Probably you have a similar set, maybe in a plasma white or some other imitation HID color.

to use OEM ballasts and ignitors.. about $250 but everything fits in the OEM spots... so $77 isnt bad at all.. yes u will have to drill a hole in the housing to run power wires from the inside of the housing to the ballast then the ballast to ignitor wire will have to have another hole...

i liked the 6000k bulbs... not annoyingly blue and not too much light loss compared to the 4300k....

but they are very blue nonetheless
