why not we do it on car tyres??

I would never use a bike tire patch on a boost hose by itself.. if you do that, i would reinforce it with a few layers of duct tape. That hole is not a pin/nail sized hole, its blown out and there will be too much pressure for it to hold up.
If you had a hole that big in a car tire you should replace the tire, its a blow out, not like a nail puncture. Besides a car tire has constant pressure in it, and this boost hose has on and off pressure and it expands and contracts frequently- going from 0 psi to over 20 over and over and over, so eventually the patch wouldnt hold up. But the hose should be replaced eventually anyway so i think samco is the way to go like ace says.

Time for some new samco hoses, perfect excuse to spend the $$$.
yeah... i just dont want to spend 300 bucks on hoses.. because you cant buy them individually.. which sucks!!! So i will have to run to the dealer and see if they have one in stock!!! Arghh...probably going to cost around 100 for that damn thing! eventually i will have to make a hard pipe

Oil comes at the high rpms that's why I have oil catch can.

Oil comes from the hose that looks like DV connected on it. It connected to the inlet pipe so it return the oil to the turbo

well its only an elbow fitting so why not cut it and insert a copper 90deg elbow then clamp it with hose clips

Oil is normal, esp with the bigger turbos, i just pulled off my DV (have a k03) and it had some oil in it.

Just put a custom hard pipe in place of that. SHouldnt cost too much.

the only thing is see costing more money is if you wanted rolled/beaded edges.. so the hoses stay on better... either way.. shouldnt cost that much at all... even if you dont bead the edges just clamp them on good, if it pops off then roll/bead the edges
