yea i looked on my garage door opener and i didnt see any learn button, could it be on the top that is connected to the ceiling, or do i have to take off a light panel or something? any of you guys have a hard time finding it? my garage door motor cant be more the 5 years old

Mine works great.... most people have a "rolling code" garage door system. so you have to do the programing in two steps. the first involves holding the actual opener remote infront of the cars (left head light?)... then you have to push the learning button of the back of the actual garahe door motor, run to your car and press and hold the desired button. Mine did not program at first but, I got mad and flipped my visor down then pressed the button and it worked.
