yeah thats pretty much how it was. throw in a decent sized turn and a house and your good to go

 

i dunno our spreaders can move slow enough i think i can just push it out of the way just enough. the question is which will move the hood or the radiator. if it's the hood i'll try it.

i don't think there's enough clearence to get a wrench in there too remove the latch but i'll try. anyone know what size bolt that is?

speaking of jaws calls we had one yesterday, old man+diabetic emergency+curve on highway+high small hill = overturned wilderness extrication

 

I kinda had the same thing happen to me except it was my mom and we replaced the hood. I think it cost us under 700 for a whole new hood and paint but I could be wrong, but your price seems high to me.


They just used a screwdriver and slowly pried the grill off from the outside,

 

im pretty sure the jaws would bend the hood first. i wouldnt put the tip of it on the latch but maybe next to it and try and push it up enough so you can get a wrench in there. i dont think it will move the radiator but they'l probably bend it.
