If yes can anyone direct me to a good guide for the change or show me a pic of where it is?

Disregard, I thought you meant coolant temp sensor...Yea the oil temp sensor is a PITA, goodluck.

if you mean coolant sensor, its not too bad. if you do mean oil temp sender....i hope you know what your doing.

to get to the sender you basically have to remove the front end of your car. its hiden behind the timing belt. it took me several hours to change mine.

Afraid its the oil temp sender! I'll get my mate to do it at work methinks,
