Cheers for your advice in finding out what chip i have.

At the moment im running up to 19 pound boost when it spikes,will that give me a better clue to what chip i may have or is that totally up to the mechanic who chippped the car and uped the boost?

 

I don't want to assume that chip tuning is different in Australia, so... the mechanic wouldn't have been able to "up" the boost. That is done within the software at time of development. The tech would solder the chip to the ecu only.
Anyway, 19psi spiking does not leave a clue as to which chip you have.
As I said before, if you have no paperwork to show for the chip, then you'll have to open the ecu and see if there is a label stuck on the chip - the label would identify the maker and software version. Unfortunately, not all chip makers put a label on their chips.

BTW: Why such a need for the maker of your chip??

These days all you can find are prejudicial testimonials that are funded by the chip manufacturers; not very objective.
