a 2001 A4? I can't find anyone who will install my system for me...Best Buy, Circuit City, Santa Fe Audio....no one has the right mounting kit for my car. Crutchfield doesn't have one either. What's the deal with this?

I think the 01 A4 has 2 different types of stock systems, and apparently I have the one without a dash kit. Anyone else have this problem? Custom shops have offered to "build" me a dash kit for 80 bucks/hour at a "few hours of labor".

 

ya lots of people have that problem. I think there is a mounting kit on ebay or you could fabricate one yourself. Or you could just hook up some pre amp outputs in the back of the stereo and retain the stock HU and get better sound.

I saw a lot of dash kits on ebay.

It's driving me crazy, I have Infiniti Kappa series everything ready for install, and can't find anyone to install a head unit for me...

 

what type of head unit is it? and is it a video one or no, you can get them you just gotta know where to look
