RE: How much should I pay for a timing belt change?
The dealership mentioned every 105k as well. Is there a way to tell if it has been replaced recently? The serpentine belt seems worm but from wat I could tell the timing belt looked ok...

$500 - $600 including all parts (belt, tensioner, pump, etc.)and labor would be reasonable

$750 seems a lot for the Midwest...how much is labor out there? Who knows.

belt price about 65 bucks
and then 5.9 labor
whatever the shop rate is, and yes, this is book time, dont let them cheat you! good luck
The reason we change the TB change is not to change the TB but the TB tensioner that fails - so just replacing the TB would be useless. maybe thats how it is on a verona but not around here. The basic TB kit from ECS is $200 and I would suggest getting the Ultimate TB kit from them for $280.. I'm doing mine the weekend after easter - I was going to do it this weekend at my parents house but they decided to go down ot Puerto Vallarta for a week and a half. Call around and get quotes - every where around the country has different prices for labor/parts/shop materials etc. call a good euro mechanic and see what they will quote you. $400-$1k price range I'm sure.
